Our brewery teammates are working hard to help us be known as the best for beer. And, with our support, they’re able to take exams and qualifications to develop their craft.

Huge congrats to the following teammates for successfully completing their exams…

• Christian, Microbiologist, completed a lab-based university course in microbiology. The skills he’s picked up will help us to improve our brewing processes.
• Lab Technician Will and Quality Systems Analyst Paul both completed an exam with the Institute of Brewing and Distillery which covers the fundamentals of brewing, from malting and fermentation through to packaging the beer. This year, Paul’s achievement was especially impressive because he got the highest exam score in the world.
• Team Leader Jamie and Relief Brewer David each completed a module of their Master Brewer exams – the most prestigious qualification in the industry.

Head Brewer Chris is delighted with his team’s achievement and is determined to see them develop to become future leaders. He said: “Having teammates with these qualification gives us a seal of approval externally – we can tell our customers that we have the best people brewing our beer. It’s so important that we develop our people to be the Head Brewers of the future.”
