Eggs-cellent work A huge thank you to our teams across the country for donating thousands of Easter eggs to local care homes and hospitals over the weekend. Every year, the team at The Old Thatch at Stanton Under Barton smash their target. This year, they collected an incredible 600 eggs for 23 local care homes. At The Bay Horse in Catterick, eggs were donated to the children’s ward at Darlington Memorial Hospital. Teammates at The Flying Squirrel in Bradford donated eggs to their local hospital At The Honeysuckle Inn, Newport, the team collected eggs for the local care home and the town’s food bank. At The Nursery Inn, Stockport, teammates and customers came out in force to collect more than 500 eggs. The eggs stacked up at The Red Lion in Birmington ready for delivery to Chesterfield Royal Hospital. Over 150 eggs were collected and given to the children’s ward at the Queen’s Medical Centre by teammates at The Oldmoor Lodge. Elaine and her team at The Sir John Cockle, Mansfield, collected more than 500 Easter eggs and called on the local Roadrunners Scooter Club to deliver them by hand to King’s Mill Hospital. At The Otter, over 120 Easter eggs were donated to Matthew Walklin’s Make a Smile Foundation for local children and young adults with cancer.
