Raising a glass to our bartenders

We’re celebrating our amazing bartenders up and down the country on World Bartender Day.

Our bartenders are experts when it comes to pouring drinks and mixing cocktails, but there’s so much more to what they do! We caught up with some of our talented teammates to hear all about their favourite moments behind the bar…

If you want to know anything about cocktails, Eve’s the person to talk to! She’s even developed a gin-based cocktail, Corpse Bride, for The Lost & Found bars. She said: “I love that being a bartender means I can be creative! I’ve always been interested in the arts but I’ve definitely found my passion when it comes to cocktails.”
Charlotte’s ultimate highlight was serving former Take That star Jason Orange at The Lost & Found in Knutsford. She said: “I turn into a proper fan girl when celebs visit! Seriously though, you have to be a great listener to work behind the bar because you hear so many incredible stories.”

Sophie’s worked her way up to Supervisor at The Chestnut Tree over the last few years. She’s a real social butterfly and pulls out all the stops for fab reviews on TripAdvisor. She says being a great bartender is all down to making people feel welcome.
Matt picked up his bartending skills in New Zealand before joining The Lost & Found team. His favourite thing about being a bartender is going the extra mile. He said: “Getting a ‘thank you’ from customers gives you such a buzz!”

How to get involved…

Share the love this World Bartender Day (24 Feb)! Is there a teammate at your local Marston’s pub who really goes the extra mile? Leave a comment below to thank them and let us know why they’re so special…
