The heat was on for the final of the Marston’s dominoes competition hosted by The Clarendon.
Dominoes is a traditional pub game where points are scored for making the ends of the tile layout add up to certain totals, traditionally multiples of 3 and 5.
Our competition has been running for over 25 years and is a battle between Midlands-based pub teams for champion status. Every year, our pub teams sign up to compete in the hope of making it to the final!
Wendy, Manager at The Bull Hotel in Codsall, organises the competition, co-ordinating the heats and communicating with every team. She’s a legend when it comes to drumming up support and building excitement for the final, compered by WCR FM radio host Ian Burt!

After a tense competition, The Round of Beef team came out on top. Congratulations guys!
Adrian, Area Operations Manager, said: “The evening was a huge success with plenty of people turning up to show their support. There was a fantastic atmosphere with great sportsmanship and competitive spirit. Huge thanks to Mark and Tom at The Clarendon for helping to organise and host the event.”
