Our latest limited-edition DE14 brew is a refreshing cucumber and lime sushi Gose – perfect for the summer!
Based at Marston’s Brewery in Burton, our 600-pint DE14 nano-kit allows our brewers to experiment with new ingredients and techniques to create exciting beers. So far, we’ve produced two core beers – Flight Suit and End Point IPA – and more than 40 limited-edition special brews and collaborations.
The latest DE14 collab saw Twisted Barrel head brewer Ritchie join forces with DE14 brewer Jenny. Jenny said: “As brewers, we really love to experiment on the DE14 nano-kit, especially with inspirational brewers like Ritchie. It’s a great chance to play with unique ingredients!”
Named ‘Ultra Green’, this collab is an unfiltered craft beer, brewed with rice and seaweed to give a lovely citrus zing with a hint of cooling cucumber. It’s in-keeping with Twisted Barrel’s ethical and vegan brewing values and is known as a Gose – a top fermented beer that originated in Goslar, Germany.
Ritchie said: “It’s been great to work with Jenny and team at the DE14 brewery and combine our shared knowledge to produce a great beer for everyone to enjoy.”
Fancy trying it? It’s currently available in a limited number of city centre bars.
