Job’s a good’un again!

We loved having another group from The Way join us recently to learn all about the opportunities available at Marston’s.

As a proud Founder Patron of The Way Wolverhampton Youth Zone (a purpose-built facility that provides young people with somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to), we were beyond excited to get involved again with the Get A Job initiative.

The 16-24 year olds joined us to learn all about the career opportunities available at Marston’s. The day kicked off at Marston’s House with a boardroom apprentice style experience and behind-the-scenes tour of our agile office. The group met a range of specialist teams which support the wider business, across HR, finance, IT, marketing, estates and customer services – to name just a few! It gave the members a real feel for the range of jobs and opportunities available.

The group even popped on their chef whites for a pizza making competition at the Talent Academy, led by kitchen guru Dave Mann. Judged by Matt Jones and Matt Field from the Training team, the most creative and best presented pizza chefs won an award, presented by the local visiting Vicar.

We love supporting The Way and the great work they do.
