Have your say on dog-friendly pubs

With the nation’s favourite dog show on the horizon (as if you don’t know it’s Crufts this weekend?!), we want to know: should pubs be dog-friendly?

We’re always thinking about the best way to serve our customers, but how many of us are thinking about the needs of their four-legged friends? And should we be?

We polled our Let’s Go Out forum members to get their thoughts. And, with more than 200 responses and 60% of the results in favour of allowing dogs in pubs, it seems we’re officially a nation of dog lovers!

Now it’s over to you! Are you a dog lover? Or would you prefer a pooch-free pub? Comment below and let us know your thoughts.

And, if you’re heading to Crufts at the NEC in Birmingham, why not pop into our nearest dog-friendly bar? Cosy up to the fire with your four-legged friend and enjoy a drink at Ye Olde Saracens Head in Balsall Common.

P.S. We couldn’t resist a few pics of cute canines in some of our pubs! If you’ve got a pic you’d like to share, email it to us at communications@marstons.co.uk.

This is the only pub ( Hopwood House) in the area that do not allow dogs in. You have lots of dog walkers and your on the canal with lots of people with dogs which always get turned away. You have the Peacock, Red Lion, Barnt Green Inn, The Victoria and Coach and Horse all in the area which allow dogs in.

It seems again that the Saxon king is the only pub that is not dog friendly, please make it dog friendly
There is plenty of areas you could make a dog friendly area in the pub
