The Survival of the Fittest Rat Race is back

Marston’s Brewery teammates smashed the Rat Race in Nottingham last year. Now it’s time to see what you’re made of...

Now in its 11th year, the Rat Race in Nottingham is the longest running 10km obstacle course anywhere in the world. It’s muddy, it’s wet and it’s a lot of fun!

Team members from Marston’s Brewery in Burton took on the challenge last year with their friends and family, to raise money for Children with Cancer UK. They all smashed the adventure course and enjoyed a refreshing pint of Wainwright on the finish line (as the event’s official beer, it would be rude not to!).

John Walsh, Shift Supervisor, encouraged his teammates to get involved. He said: “It’s so great that 12 of us took part. It just proves that Marston’s really is the place to be.”

Fancy your chances? The Rat Race returns to Nottingham on 6 October – and, this year, it’s tougher than ever! Complete the course and 30 obstacles (including kayaking, water slides and the ‘mud n’ tumble’) to join the list of survivors and raise cash for a really worthy cause.

See you on the start line. Only the fittest will survive!
