Lighting of the Pumpkins, Wychwood Brewery

It’s the home of the Unofficial Beer of Halloween, so it’s only right the Hobgoblin team plays host to a truly spooky night! The festival runs from 18:00-21:00 on 31 Oct and is free to enter. With plenty to drink, live music and a hog roast, it’s one not to miss! Just remember to dress up for the occasion (the more witches, wizards, ghosts and ghouls, the better!!) and bring along your carved pumpkins for the grand finale. Visit www.wychwood.co.uk or call 01993 890800 to find out more.

After-dark tours, Banks’s Brewery

Fancy exploring this Victorian Brewery in the dead of night on 31 Oct? Now’s your chance! With 140 years of history, the chances are you’ll see a ghost or two. Plus, there’s ‘trick or treat’ fun and Halloween-brews on the bar. Tours cost £8.50 per person and will run from 18.30 – call 01902 329653 to book.

Hobgoblin takeover, Marston’s House

If you’re stopping by our support centre in Wolverhampton on 31 Oct, make sure you’ve got your freakiest costume ready and are prepared for some serious mischief! There’ll be plenty of the Hobgoblin’s spooky fun n’ games throughout the day and a fancy-dress comp for everyone. Simply make a donation to get involved (all proceeds will go to charity). And don’t forget to use the ballot boxes around the building to vote for your best-dressed teammate too.

Haunted tour, Jennings Brewery

Prepare yourself for a night of fright with a haunted tour of the brewery, on Saturday 28th October, where you just might stumble across a few resident ghosts! Then head to the Old Cooperage bar for some Halloween treats and classic Jennings ales, remember to try the Halloween special Tommy’s Tipple. Tours costs £18 and call 01900 820362 to book. It’s not for the faint hearted – go on, we dare you!
