Horse Power

Logistics Operations Manager John is calling out for teammates to vote for Horse Power as part of its bid to receive funding from ITV’s ‘People’s Project’.

All you need to do is click here to vote or call Freephone 0800 197 8610 before midday on Monday 3 April – and you could make a £50,000 difference to the project!

Horse Power is run by the charity CHOICES, which provides essential counselling services throughout Staffordshire in the Midlands and is where John’s wife works. The project’s just been shortlisted for the lottery-funded People’s Projects on ITV Central News, which means that it could receive up to £50,000 if it gets the highest number of votes from viewers.

John explains what the Horse Power project in Lichfield is all about: “It offers equine-assisted counselling therapy for children and adults with a variety of social and mental issues. Winning the vote will give more people access to this specialist and wonderful treatment, where the calming and instinctive presence of horses can build self-esteem, trust and understanding. Please take a moment to have a look at what it does, and vote if you can!”

The project is being featured on Central News on Wednesday 22 March. It’s also listed on the ITV News website, where you see a short film here.

**Please show your support! It really couldn’t be quicker and easier to get involved: click here or call Freephone 0800 197 8610. If you vote online, make sure you confirm your vote via the link emailed to you. Voting closes on Monday 3 April at midday.**
