Apprenticeship Awards Ceremony

We kicked this week off in style with our first ever apprenticeship awards ceremony! Let’s meet our winners…

Did you know there are over 400 talented apprentices working across our pubs? Our apprentices bring a huge amount of energy, passion and fresh ideas to Marston’s, so it’s only right to properly celebrate the contribution they’ve made to our business during their time on the programme – and how better to do this than with their very own awards ceremony?!

The awards were split into categories (one for each apprenticeship qualification) and the winners were crowned for their dedication, continued growth and value they’ve added since joining the apprenticeship programme. There were some special awards for their top supporters too – managers who have been with them every step of the way, encouraging our rising stars to ‘dream big’ and reach their full potential.

All finalists were joined by friends and family, as well as the Mayor of Wolverhampton, to mark the occasion, and our winners collected their awards from CEO Ralph Findlay. So, let’s meet our heroes of the evening…

  • Harley Dawson (Running Horse, Norfolk): Level 2 Team Leader award
  • Sam Edley (Apple Cart, Peterborough): Highly Commended, Level 2 Team Leader
  • Paige Morris (Raven, Ipswich): Level 2 Team Member award
  • Lauren Harris-Key (Old House at Home, Walsall): Level 2 Kitchen award
  • Marcus Knights (Spring Tide, Lowestoft): Level 3 award
  • Michelle Jones (Copperpot, Knowsley): General Manager Champion award
  • Scott Prett (Six Medals, Middlehaven): Highly Commended, General Manager Champion
  • Louise Clark (Area Operations Manager – Clarion): Area Operation Manager Champion award

Well done to all of our finalists and special congratulations to our winners! 🙂
