A big win at the races

Marston’s is first past the post to win a major racecourse contract.

Marston’s has won a prestigious contract to supply 15 top racecourses. Richard Westwood, Managing Director of Marston’s Beer Company, heard on 9 December that we had won the contract for full supply to Arena Racing (ARC), throughout the country, replacing Heineken.


A delighted Richard congratulated the free-trade and marketing teams for their tenacity, in particular the work of Regional Sales Manager Paul Riley and Richard Saunders, Head of Sales.


“It’s especially pleasing that we succeeded on the back of our fantastic portfolio of beers,” said Richard Westwood. “Our ability to supply authentic beers was a key attraction for ARC, along with our class-leading customer service, our flexibility and our willingness to engage in industry-leading innovation.”


There’s now a big job ahead for the technical and marketing teams as they carry out the installations and re-branding all the racecourses.


“This is a huge win for us and yet another endorsement of our growing esteem in the industry. It is a win for everybody in our business and we should all be very proud,” said Richard Westwood.
