General Manager at the Old Hare and Hounds in Anstey, Leicester was interviewed on BBC radio about what makes a good pub in the current market.

BBC Radio Leicester based itself at the Old Hare and Hounds it Anstey to run a feature on what makes a good pub. The piece was based on CAMRA’s figures that 29 pubs a week are closing, but they soon found some very happy customers to interview at the Old Hare and Hounds – one of our Local sites. Manager Jason talked about making sure pubs are aimed at the right market, and how he was grateful for the support of Marston’s.

Several of the pub’s lively bunch of regulars talked warmly about their local, with one saying it was “…one of the last of the old British pubs…a brilliant place to come and sit.”
