Saluting our Forces for Armed Forces Day

This Saturday (25 June) is Armed Forces Day. Following our signing of the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant, it’s the perfect opportunity to show our support for servicemen and women across the country.

The event celebrates and honours the contribution and bravery of our Armed Forces. And this year’s theme – ‘Salute Our Forces’ – encourages people across the UK to demonstrate their respect and gratitude for the Military, past and present.

Want to show your support? Here are some ways you can get involved…

– Follow Armed Forces Day on social media and share its posts throughout the day via Facebook and Twitter.
– Get together with teammates, customers, friends or family and post a picture or short film of you ‘saluting the Forces’, using #SaluteOurForces. Alternatively, email it to
– Use the day to fundraise for Help for Heroes – one of our charity partners. And why not visit your local for a pint of our Help for Heroes beer? Or, if you work in one of our pubs, encourage customers to give it a taste in support of Armed Forces Day.
– Ask any reservists, service leavers or veterans at your site to share their military experiences. They could even teach teammates how to salute, ready for your team photo!
– Watch and share the Armed Forces Day film at

We’d love to see what you get up to – send your photos, films and stories to us at
