Transforming the community

Our Estates teammates made the most of their skills when they supported Wombourne’s girl guides and scouts group last week.

They headed to the village – which is close to Marston’s House where they are based – for their annual charity day, where they renovated the girl guides hall and gardens, while sprucing up the 3rd Wombourne Scouts hut as well. A number of teammates volunteer for girl guiding, brownies and scouts groups themselves – so supporting these causes was a no brainer!

They helped paint, weed, clean, and lay down astroturf. The leaders of the groups were delighted with the work, which is set to have a major impact on the children in the area.

Vicky Bratt, scout leader, added: “It’s amazing and I can’t wait to see the children’s faces, we’re all so grateful. The team built a den for us and I cried when I saw it – the work is just incredible.”

Great work team!
