Magic of Christmas

Ian, General Manager at The Lion and Snake in Lincoln, turned his carpark into a soup kitchen and delivered care packages across the city to help as many homeless people as possible.

Ian and his team wanted to make a difference this Christmas, so they decided to turn the carpark into a soup kitchen for homeless people in Lincoln.

Ian rallied round local businesses and suppliers to get his hands on presents and clothes to give to those in need.

On the day, 15 people in need were given a warm meal and mince pies, as well as clothes, blankets and essential items like toothpaste and deodorant.

And, with the help of Lincoln City Council, Lincoln Business Improvement District, the Lord Mayor of Lincoln, Greggs, our support teams and teammates at The Lion and Snake, 50 care packages were delivered across the city.

A HUGE well done to everyone involved – you went the extra mile and you’ve made a real difference to people’s lives this Christmas.
