On the second day of Christmas Marston’s gave to me

Two generous gestures

Ian, General Manager at The Lion and Snake in Lincoln, is turning his carpark into a soup kitchen on 13 December to help as many homeless people as possible.

He’s rallied round local businesses and suppliers to get his hands on presents and clothes to give to those in need, too.

Ian said: “A food and gift station will be situated on our car park and we’ll be opening up our function room so that people can have something to eat and drink in the warmth. There’ll be clothes and blankets available, as well as essential items like toothpaste and deodorant.

“Christmas is a time to help one another and we feel that we can make a difference to people’s lives at this time of year. We support local charities all year round and this is something that we feel really passionate about.”

On the day, the Mayor of Lincoln will be on hand serving food and drinks, as well as Area Operations Manager James, members of our training team and teammates from the pub.
