Flying high

We’ve welcomed new teammates to our brand new Carvery pub, The Flying Squirrel, in Bradford.

The Flying Squirrel opened earlier this week. The pub is part of a brand new retail park on Clayton Road in Bradford. And what about the name? The land the pub is built on was previously owned by Scott Motorcycle Company, which manufactured the Flying Squirrel motorbike between 1926 and 1939.

On the menu, you’ll find our classic daily carvery and legendary pub favourites from fish and chips and spicy curry, to hearty pie and chips. Opening day went down a storm and the pub was decorated from top to bottom with balloons in the Bradford Bulls rugby team colours.

To make sure their first few weeks go down in history, the management team has developed a personalised upsell board, with prizes for upsell star of the week, the highest number of WOW points and customer SMILE reviews.

Good luck Team Squirrel, we can’t wait to see how you get on 🙂
