There’s something in the water

Marston’s Brewery has launched the latest mini documentary in the ‘Beyond the Beer’ campaign.

‘Beyond the beer’ is all about going back to the source and celebrating the ingredients that go into our famous brews.

‘Beyond the beer’ is made up of a series of mini documentaries, celebrating the people, places, ingredients and passion that go into every pint of beer. The films share more about our brewing process and expertise, going all the way from the raw ingredients we use, to serving the perfect pint.

The series kicked-off last year with a ‘meet the growers’ video from our hops fields at Hayle Farm in Kent and our grain suppliers from the Holkham Estate in Norfolk.

Next up in the series was a celebration of Beer Town (Burton-on-Trent), as the spiritual home of brewing, with a special film festival. The competition, in partnership with Burton and South Derbyshire College, championed up-and-coming filmmakers throughout the UK.

Then, our brewers went on a mission to inspire and encourage passionate home-brewers to share their creations at our Home Brew Club. Home brewers get together every month at Marston’s Brewery to share their creations.

The latest video in the series highlights the ingredient that makes Burton beer so special. Burton Liquor is the water that runs beneath the town and people have been going to the home of brewing since 1834 to use the special ingredient. We recently took Burton Liquor out on the road at a local beer festival – check out the video below to find out more.
