Recycling angels

To kick start Recycle Week, we’re saying a HUGE well done to our recycling champions at The Conquerors March.

Recycle Week (24-30 September) is a UK-wide initiative developed by WRAP – a charity working to reduce waste, develop sustainable products and use resources in an efficient way. The aim of the week is to encourage people to recycle more, both at home and at work.

We’ve made some great progress already and recently achieved zero waste to landfill status – a huge achievement! If we all keep sweating the small stuff, we’ll continue to make a real difference.

The Conquerors March has seen a huge improvement over the last six weeks and the team’s working hard to keep reducing general waste over the upcoming busy festive period.

Assistant Manager Dan said: “We all need to remember that the world can happily flourish without us, but we can’t live without natural habitats and the inhabitants!”
