Numero Nuno

Banks’s Brewery pays the ultimate tribute to Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo with a commemorative beer.

The new look for Banks’s Amber Bitter celebrates Wolves’ promotion to the Premier League.

The name – Numero Nuno – was the brainchild of Maintenance Helpdesk Advisor Beth and Key Account Manager Craig, who won Banks’s recent naming comp. They cleverly named the brew after the Wanderers’ head coach, whilst also playing on ‘numero uno’ (number one) to commemorate the team’s promotion.

Assistant Brand Manager Amie Cater met Nuno at Wolves’ training ground to present him with a limited-edition mini cask of the new-look ale. She said: “We’ve had great feedback on ‘Numero Nuno’ from both locals and Wolves fans, so to be able to personally hand over the commemorative mini cask to Nuno is the icing on the cake! Banks’s is really proud to show its continued support to Wolves, as the team celebrates the promotion.”
