Beer Day Britain – Cheers to success!

So our favourite day of the year has been and gone but thousands of people (including our teammates of course) joined together to say “Cheers to Beer”.

We’d like to thank you all for the amazing effort you put it to the big day – from party style shifts with bunting out to special promotions – you did it all.

Here’s some of our favourites parts of the day as we know you may have been too busy enjoying your beer to catch everything!

You can watch our teammates at our Banks’s Brewery Visitor Centre and Shop raising their glass – they also enjoyed live music, fish and chips and a brewery tour too!

We had a great turnout at Ringwood’s event where more than 50 people enjoyed the sunny beer garden and enjoyed six guest cask ales, two guest keg ales and plenty of traditional British pub snacks before raising their glasses at 7pm.

The biggest tour came from our brewery teams who went on the ultimate brewery tour starting at Jennings in Cockermouth, headed down the M6 to Burton Brewery and over to Wolverhampton to say cheers with the Banks’s team, then on to Bedford to our new friends at Charles Wells, down to the beautiful New Forest and Ringwood Brewery and finally up to Witney to see the mischievous lot at Wychwood.

Here’s our brewery teammates saying “cheers”

And of course our customers and teammates across the UK lifted their glass (we didn’t mind if it wasn’t beer!) and said “cheers” with thousands of people in pubs and gardens across the country.

Well done to all of our teammates who took part while working or made a special effort to visit one of our pubs or breweries in time for the 7pm “cheers” on 15 June.
