EVERYONE DESERVES A HIGH FIVE FOR THEIR SUPER EFFORTS

Here’s a quick roundup of what our teams did to raise money for Macmillan Cancer during Give Back Week...

In Wolverhampton two intrepid teams walked over 12 miles, stopping at Marston’s pubs along the way to take part in a treasure hunt with a series of 21 challenges, including a random act of kindness to a stranger, a selfie with an animal, 10 minutes serving behind the bar, a team pyramid in front of the bar, and high fiving five strangers.

The final stop was Marston’s House where people had kicked off the week by wearing something green and gained midweek sustenance from different-flavoured cheesecakes provided by Claire Yates, Destination’s Menu Development Executive. Well done to Jen Ward from Taverns Marketing for organising the Treasure Hunt, which together with a fantastic half marathon from James Vann raised £768.

The total funds for Give Back Week has now topped £1,200 but there’s still time to give your teammates your backing here http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/Givebackweek
