Hi Ten Lock Flight and Dancing Betty

New-builds are on schedule in Cheshire and Co. Durham as part of our commitment to build up to 25 new pub-restaurants this year.

Our next new-build Two for One pub is the Ten Lock Flight. Named after the ten sets of locks on the nearby Bridgewater Canal, the pub in Runcorn, Cheshire, will be opening its doors in early April, just in time for Easter. General Manager Adam Williams has already been interviewed by the local newspaper, which reported that the pub opening will create 45 local jobs in the area.

Adam told the Runcorn and Widnes World: “We believe The Ten Lock Flight will be a hub for the community that will not only offer great food and drink but also excellent value for money and fantastic customer service.”

Meanwhile in Murton, County Durham, The Dancing Betty is on schedule for a summer opening. Situated in the Dalton Park shopping complex, the Milestone Carvery will have an outdoor patio and seating area, pergola and children’s play area. The Sunderland Echo reported that the look of the building has been inspired by traditional coaching inns and will be a great social place for family events.

The Dancing Betty is part of Dalton Park’s £45m phase 2 expansion and is on the site of a former colliery.
