A record breaking Christmas raffle

Generous Marston’s people raise a record breaking amount for our Employee Charity Fund’s Christmas raffle and auction.

The annual Christmas raffle and auction took place at Marston’s House on Tuesday 20 December 2016, and raised a staggering £5,882.98 for the Marston’s Employee Charity Fund – the largest amount we’ve ever raised during the Christmas draw!

Rod Grainger, Treasurer of Marston’s Employee Charity Fund, said: “This fantastic figure was only achievable through the generosity of our people and on behalf of the Charity Committee I would like to thank everyone involved for raising such an amazing amount of money.

“The Christmas draw would never be possible without the support of many people and teams, from those who organised the event and those who sourced the prizes, to everyone who bought a ticket or put in a bid, the committee really appreciate what you have done.”

The Employee Charity Fund raises money to donate to great causes throughout the year, from helping charities or individuals, to supporting employees who are raising funds for good causes. It’s a great way for us to make a difference to people’s lives.
