Top of the 2016 drinks list!

Three of our best-selling beer brands – Wainwright, Pedigree and Shipyard – have been recognised by consumers in The Morning Advertiser’s ‘Top 100 Brands’.

Three of our best-selling beer brands – Wainwright, Pedigree and Shipyard – have been recognised by consumers in The Morning Advertiser’s ‘The Drinks List: Top 100 Brands’ for 2016.

 

And, it gets more impressive! Not only did our beers feature within the top 30 brands, but Wainwright and Pedigree were ranked the no.1 and no.2 cask ale brands respectively, and Shipyard was the no.2 craft beer brand on the list.

 

“We should be rightly proud of these results – the scores not only reflect the sales performance of the beer brands but, more importantly, the consumer opinions on taste, quality, value for money, branding and serve quality,” said Chris Keating, Head of Brands Marketing – Beer Company.

The list pulls together the top drinks brands from across the UK, including soft drinks, wines, spirits, lagers and craft ales. It’s a hugely competitive market, so to have made the list (not just once, but three times!) against brands from all drinks categories is a massive achievement.

 

Taking the top spots for cask ale and craft beer brands is also testament to the quality of our beers and the position Marston’s holds in the marketplace as the nation’s leading brewer of premium cask and bottled ales.
