Banks’s festival pulls the crowds

On one of the hottest days of the year, Banks's festival attracted 600 people to enjoy a taste of summer.

Over 600 people rocked up to Banks’s summer beer festival earlier this month, which was held at the front of Marston’s House – right next door to Banks’s Brewery in Wolverhampton – on Saturday 6 August.

With the sun beating down on the hottest day of the year, visitors found the selection of 18 beers welcoming and refreshing! Over 1,200 pints were served throughout the day, both on the bar and from the Sunbeam pushbike, which gave customers the rare chance to pull their own pint. Other cooling drink selections included chilled wine, prosecco, cocktails and Pimm’s.

There was something for everyone: a bouncy castle, homemade ice cream, brewery tours and independent gift stands, as well as Banks’s merchandise. And, to top it off, local musicians, including Amy Goodall, Dan Sutton and Joe Wood, provided live music throughout the day.

A portion of the total day’s takings will be donated to the Marston’s Charity Fund on behalf of Banks’s.
