Brakspear provides good clean finish at Henley

This year, Henley Royal Regatta was all about the letter ‘b’ – Brakspear, boaters and brollies!

Even the disappointing weather at this year’s Henley Royal Regatta, could dampen the spirits of over 200,000 people who attended the event – and a beer or two – on the banks of the River Thames. Over five days at the end of June, the famous rowing event offered a unique blend of first-class international sport and unrivalled post-race partying.

As usual, Brakspear thrilled attendees, with over 18,000 pints being served from the five sponsored Regatta bars. Brakspear Bitter, Oxford Gold, Hooray Henley and Boaty McBoatrace were joined this year by Kingstar lager and Kingstone Press cider to make Marston’s the winning crew.

National Accounts and Free Trade teams joined over 150 guests, as well as winners of the ‘Row to Go’ competition to enjoy a few beers, VIP hospitality and full immersion in the Henley atmosphere.
