Ribbon cut for opening of new lodge

The Canterbury Bell in Thanet recently opened the doors of its brand new lodge.

The pub’s rated 4* by travellers on TripAdvisor and is popular for its rotisserie chicken, wide selection of drinks and dedicated kids menu – but the Canterbury Bell now has a new edition to charm its guests…an onsite lodge.

The lodge offers 27 spacious rooms, from family-sized to singles, in a warm environment with the pub at its heart. On top of the new accommodation, the lodge also means that the pub is now open for breakfast from 07.00 on weekdays and 08.00 at the weekend.

In more good news, the lodge has also created 12 new jobs in the local community, including house-keepers, porters and receptionists.

Manger Jay Goldsmith said: “We can’t wait to show off our brand new lodge to customers old and new!”
