Head Chef training day

Challenges galore sent our Head Chefs back with new skills after their training day.

Eleven Head Chefs from the North West and Wales assembled on 17 May for a challenging but fun-filled training day.

Activities such as the ‘Omelette Challenge’ (as seen on Saturday Kitchen), ‘The Human Knot’ and the ‘Blindfolded Prawn Cocktail Challenge’ tested their full range of skills.

They also heard from GM and support team guest speakers, learning about everything from auditing and customer satisfaction to recruiting and developing their teams.

The Head Chefs will be getting together again every few months to continue building their relationships across the area and working together as one team.
